I imagine that I'll work on another EDEP project this summer, this Fall's program will be around Megalodon, so I'm super excited to get my hands on that one. If not, there's about a hundred different things that are open for us to do around here, the museum is always in need of driven students.

This week has been slow, finishing up the Spring semester stuff at the museum. I have finished another curriculum guide, this one about insects. Camp is approaching fast so we need to get these guides out to the teachers in order for them to get their lesson plans in for us ASAP.
On Saturday we had training. I had done it last year, but that was more than fine since they provided us with some snacks. All in all, I'd call it a wonderful day and I'm ready to begin my Summer work at the museum tomorrow!
P.S. The image to the right is from when we opened the exhibit "Wolf to Woof," and I figured it's relevant. Her name was Penelope and she is adorable.
The quote is from a movie, I promise I'm not just randomly talking about wolves.
Hey Callum! Glad to hear everything is doing well at the museum. I'm sure the summer camps will run very smoothly this time around thanks to all of the great interns like yourself. Are you going to be the lead intern over there since you know your way around Powell?
ReplyDeleteHey Brett!
DeleteAmanda said that I'd basically be a "mini-supervisor" to everyone, so I suppose so. Should be fun though, everyone else is pretty cool.
I love dogs!! Pretty sure that wolf to woof exhibit is something that I would like as well. You seem to be very involved in the museum which is really cool, and you said you would like to work in a museum one day, is there a specific museum you would like to work at?
ReplyDeleteI love dogs too!
DeleteAnd I have no idea, anywhere would be fun. The Boston Museum of Science was a lot of fun when I went there, and I'd love to go to the American Museum of Natural History. The dream would be to go back home and work at the British Museum of Natural History, but that's a huge dream.
You have been so involved at the museum, I was using your Curriculum Guide yesterday to see how mine should look. I hope that I will be able to get started on similar things and can't wait for summer camp to start
